CONCEPT

How it all started…

The inspiration behind “Rebirth" is a reference from the iconic Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman styles. The ‘Chiton’ refers to the loose and elegant drape of cloth attached at the shoulders. The ‘Stola’ refers to a robe that draped from the shoulders, where it was fastened with brooches or clasps. The concept of “Rebirth” is to revive a style that was once an essential, and now continues to influence the world.

The collection is filled with earth and nude tones, consisting of a light skin tone, pale blush, quartz, mauve, and dark earth Pantone. The color story was inspired by a picture of a canyon that was filled with nudes, oranges, reds, and browns. The drapes fit close to the body and flow freely and the idea of using an embroidery hoop to use as a clasp, accents and pulls the silhouettes together. The fluidity of the canyons matches the fluidity of the drapes that naturally follow the form of the body.

A Free Spirit…

My collection is about a strong, spiritual, sophisticated and creative-minded woman who is in control of her thoughts and is not afraid to experiment when it comes to art. Someone who finds enjoyment being outside and inside, both sides show that she is observant and takes in the world and what it has to offer. She takes what she experiences and through intuition, she can tell her story. Fashion is a huge part of her life and she finds unique pieces that help her express who she is. My collection reaches out to women who believe in my aesthetic and want it to be a part of their lives.
